The upcoming American science fiction drama series ‘Mrs. Davis is just around the corner. It is created by Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez for Peacock.
The theme of the series is a conflict between faith and technology which leads to an epic battle involving binary and biblical proportions.
The plot revolves around a nun named Simone who confronts the power of artificial intelligence and uses her faith to take on technology.

When Is Mrs. Davis Releasing?
The show was created at Warner Bros. Television and it received a ten-episode series order for Peacock. The casting of the series began in March of 2022 with Berry Gilpin being the first one to be cast in the lead role and Jake McDorman opposite her.
Andy McQueen, Margo Martindale, and Ben Chaplin were cast in main roles with Elizabeth Marvel and David Arquette in recurring roles.
Filming started in August of 2022. Other cast members joined the cast after the filming began. The series is scheduled to have its world premiere in March of 2023 at South by Southwest. It is set to arrive on April 20, 2023, on Peacock.

Betty Gilpin-
The protagonist of the series Simone is played by American actress Betty Gilpin in the series. Primetime Emmy-nominated Gilpin was previously cast as the main character Debbie “Liberty Belle” Eagan in the American comedy-drama series ‘GLOW‘ from 2017 to 2019 and as Maureen Kane Dean in the main role of the political thriller series ‘Gaslit‘ in 2022.
Gilpin will also star as the lead character Lina in the upcoming tv series ‘Three Women’. Some of their film credits of Gilpin include ‘True Story’, ‘Future ’38’, ‘The Hunt’, ‘Coffee & Kareem’, ‘The Tomorrow War’, etc.
Jake McDorman-
American actor Jake McDorman will be seen starring as Wiley who is Simone’s ex-boyfriend and who stands with her against artificial intelligence.
His past television credits include ‘Quintuplets’, ‘Greek’, ‘Are You There, Chelsea?’, ‘Shameless’, ‘Manhattan Love Story’, ‘Limitless’, ‘Murphy Brown’, ‘The Right Stuff’, ‘Dopesick’ etc.
Margo Martindale-
Simone’s Mother’s Superior will be portrayed by American character actress Margo Martindale. Martindale’s other television credits include ‘A Gifted Man‘, ‘The Millers, ‘The Americans, ‘The Good Wife‘, ‘Sneaky Pete’, ‘Mrs. America’ etc.
Andy McQueen-
Canadian actor Andy McQueen is another cast member of the upcoming season. He appeared in Season 3 of the action-adventure mystery teen drama series ‘Outer Banks in 2023. McQueen also starred in the films ‘Books of Blood‘, ‘Sugar Daddy’, and ‘Defining Moments’.
Ben Chaplin-
British actor Ben Chaplin is another cast member of the upcoming series. His other television credits include ‘Resort to Murder’, ‘World Without End’, ‘Moonfleet’, ‘The Book of Negroes’, ‘Mad Dogs’, ‘Press’, ‘The Nevers, etc.
David Arquette-
American actor David Arquette who is a former professional wrestler is another cast member of the series. His other television credits include ‘Parenthood’, ‘Dead Man’s Walk’, ‘In Case of Emergency’, ‘Celebrity Name Game’ etc.
Elizabeth Marvel-
American actress Elizabeth Marvel is another cast member of the series. Her other television credits include ‘The District’, ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit‘, ‘House of Cards’, ‘Homeland’, ‘Manifest‘, ‘Unbelievable’, ‘Helstrom’ etc.

American actress Ashley Romans is another cast member of the series. From 2017 to 2018 she portrayed Hermione Granger in the fan-created tv series ‘Hermione Granger and the Quarter Life Crisis‘ which is based on the Harry Potter book and film series and shows an alternate approach to Hermione’s life.
She also played Tabitha Hutter in the supernatural horror drama series ‘NOS4A2’ as a recurring character in the first season and as a main character in the second season from 2019 to 2020. In 2021 Romans portrayed the main character Agent 355 in the post-apocalyptic tv series ‘Y: The Last Man’.
Katja Herbers-
Dutch actress Katja Herbers is another cast member of the upcoming series. From 2014 to 2015 she played the main character Helen Prins in the American drama series ‘Manhattan’. Herbers is also known for starring as Emily Grace in the dystopian sci-fi western tv series ‘Westworld‘ from 2018 to 2020.
She was cast as Kristen Bouchard in the supernatural drama tv series ‘Evil’ in 2019 and was nominated for two Critics’ Choice Television Awards for this role.
